The Mystics have always said that “There is nowhere to go but in”. But understanding this at the verbal level is nothing more than adding some knowledge from the books into the head. It will not help unless that understanding becomes a part of one’s life. Life begins at the point where knowing happens. Life is transformed through knowing & not by collecting facts and details.
Although, an initial hearing is a must so that the path can be known but only the seeker has to walk on the path. Not even the Master can be of any help in this walking. He can just show you the path, which was and will always be there. Only thing is that the path was not seen due to the false impressions & influence of the mind before it. The wiper has to be applied on the screen of the car so that one can clearly see the path while driving and the same is for Spiritual Journey too.
Masters only help in removing the unwanted from the screen, that’s it. Rest the seeker has to move upon the journey. The Master who holds himself upon his disciples which compels the seeker not to leave him & go to other Gurus is not the Ideal Master. It’s like a child who dwells in the womb for 9 months & then the mother has to allow the child to move on or else, nobody will be saved.
