The Journey of Spiritualism is the Journey of Re-discovering yourself. Journey of spiritualism is journey of Conscious self annihilation in the presence of The Enlightened Master. Normally, we identify ourself with our religion, customs, beliefs, gender, society & social status. The way the world treats you, you identify yourself with that treatment. If they appreciate you, you feel exhaled & if they offend you, you go against them. Journey of Spiritualism is to experience these two extremes of life because everything exists between these two extremes. It happened one day, the king asked his son to move out of the palace & live life as a beggar. All his costly attire, the ornaments he wore were taken away & he was left far away from the kingdom. Days & years passed by, the son forgot that he was the royal prince. He used to roam here & there & could only manage to get a few coins for his livelihood. One summer afternoon when the earth was too hot he felt the need to buy some slippers for himself & that also second hand so that he can walk without burning his feet. Surprisingly few minutes later he saw a golden chariot in front of him. A man descended from the chariot and he asked him to sit in the chariot as he was the prince of the kingdom. He was given a nice bath, worthy clothes, costly ornaments to wear & he was presented in front of the king – his father. The prince bowed down & he requested the king to answer his one question. Why he was treated like this & asked to be a beggar for so many years? The king answered – This is what his father did with him. To experience the extremes of life. The moment you realise you are not what you appear to be or the world thinks about you then the man starts becoming wise. The king explained you are neither a prince nor a beggar, you are something so deep within you that nobody except you can truly see you. The identification is given by the society & hence you remain aloof from the experience of bliss, that which is deep within you…identification without any label. That pure witnessing consciousness is the Experience. Knowing it, the wisdom follows. The point is whatever changes you is not You & what you actually are is something that is never changeable. Experiencing that ‘Unchangeable’ is the biggest virtue. That experience is your ‘Beingness’. That experience is everlasting Happiness. Meditation is the only way to be one with you, to break away from all those false identities, ideas and beliefs which the society has given you. Living every moment of your life joyfully & with awareness helps you to move into the Meditation & become rooted in your being.
