In a few days from now, we will be celebrating Teacher’s Day. This day reminds us of the contribution of Teachers in the Growth & Development of an Individual for the society & mankind in totality.
This role of the teacher is probably limited to Mind Enrichment – a collection of facts, figures, theories. But with regards to the Education of OWNSELF- We still have many miles to go. Our schools, universities have to go for Inclusive Education. Heart Education also needs to be included in the curriculum. Heart Education is the Heart of All Education. Unless we talk about the Soul of Education, just to gather knowledge of the periphery does not have much value in substance.
Because our Education System lacks the concept of Heart Education, we see so much violence, hate & jealousy in society.
The feeling of Universal Brotherhood, Love & Affection for one & all and a sense of compassion for the fellow citizens has to be inculcated thru’ Heart Education.
Our Education needs to include Meditation since Childhood for sowing the seeds of Love in every Child. Meditation from Childhood along with Modern Scientific Education is the need of the hour to Transform the Society as a whole.
