Upanishads Define God as ‘Not this – Not that.’ In Hindi, Inorder to explain & determine the existence of God, it says नेति – नेति. So, if I call myself as BRAHM – the existential – Then it will be false. It will be autohypnosis. Because that is just the assumption of what I have heard. I will have to move from the Negative to Positive, from the Periphery to the Centre. From the Circumference to the Core.
Suppose, I say I am not the body, nor the mind, nor the Ego nor the self then I am moving from outer to the Inner. Moving from the Negatives makes you experience the Positive. And once the Positive appears then slowly that will also vanish. Because of how Positive can have its presence without darkness. They are both two poles of the same existence.
Negative is the object. Positive is the subject. But when the subject also disappears, at that moment you have reached which the sages have called Parabrahma – means who is beyond the World(Object) and the Brahm (Subject). That is YOU!
Zen masters call Meditation as a state of NO- MIND. When the seeker attains this state, he is JUST, he is NO MORE.
